FATTY ACIDS

Molecules that are formed as long chains of lipid-carboxylic acid found in fats and oils and in cell membranes as a component of phospholipids and glycolipids. They are essential to a healthy human body.
  • Description: A fatty acid which in chemical terms is classified as omega-9. It is found naturally in various animal and vegetable oils.
